River City United Academy Programs U8 thru U11 BOYS and GIRLS
Here at River City United we have varying levels of programs based on how much commitment a player and family wants to make.
Does your child want to Raise his or her level? RCU OFFERS THE NEXT LEVEL of soccer thru various programs.
The difference between the three levels of soccer at RCU is commitments and costs. We at RCU soccer offer seasonal and year round developmental programs for players ages 7 to 18.
All levels enjoy a developmental program that allows players to fall in love with the game of soccer. Our elite programs are for players and families who enjoy playing lots of soccer. Our elite academy teams average 30-45 games a year and 60 to 80 practices , starting in April ending in December. Our Premier and Premier/ Premier teams average 20-30 games per year with 40-60 practices, starting June/July to December.
All tournaments are within a 2 hour drive. At no time does RCU Academy teams (u8 thru U11) travel out of state or to Southern California. The furthest RCU went in 2011 for Elite teams was Manteca and Diablo.
Some of the Sacramento area events RCU Teams participated in 2012 are listed below: , CAL CUP, Hot August Blast Off(Roseville), Placer United Cup, Independence Cup, Sac State Six aside, Davis Legacy Tournaments, Golden Sierra, Junctions City Tournament, Champions Cup, SAC UNITED BOO FEST and many more.
