The official Cal South “Sanctioned Tournament” Seal of Approval guarantees you are entering a tournament that is professionally run and held accountable to a set of professional industry standards. 

The Cal South “Sanctioned Tournament” Seal of Approval ensures:

  • All Tournament Fields & Facilities are protected by the best insurance coverage in the industry.
  • All Cal South Players are 100% covered with Accident/Medical Coverage (without the need for travel papers)
  • The Tournament has satisfied all sanctioning requirements & must adhere to a professional set of standards
  • The Tournament is Affiliated with Cal South, Excellence In Youth Soccer
As we enter the 4th year of this tournament, we continue to strive to make this the best Thanksgiving weekend experience for all the players and their families.

The Tom Young Turkey Shoot is a Class III - CYSA-South sanctioned: Open to recreational teams affiliated with USSF and teams affiliated with FIFA from foreign countries.

The Tom Young Turkey Shoot offers Flights for three levels; Recreational (see the qualification criteria under GENERAL PAGE), Signature & All Star Teams with up to 4 flights per age group.

Boys and Girls Under U8-15.

Teams from Northern California & outside the State of California will receive automatic acceptance into the tournament upon completion of their application and receipt of their registration fee.

The two-day tournament will take place November 24 & 25, 2012.

All games will be played in West Anaheim , Central Orange County. Between games or at the end of the day, Anaheim and adjacent beach cities offer visitors many unique opportunities for lodging, shopping and dining.
